Subic is a great place to unwind. When you're feeling down and lonely, and you need to forget all of your problems, Subic is just a few kilometers away from the city. It is an easy way out from all the shit that is happening to you.
I admit, I am sad and i'm so devastated when I went here. The bad thing about being depressed while you're away from the city is that you'll cry rivers of tears. (I'm sorry, friends, for crying too much haha! Forgive me.) On the other hand, the good thing about being depressed while you're away is that you're able to think about the things that's bothering you. Here are the few things I realized and learned on this trip.
1. No matter where you go or what you do, things will only be good and happy as long as you got a nice company. Having people that you can share your thoughts with is pretty nice. At your most vulnerable moment, you only want someone that could understand you and not judge you. You want a company that will give you good advice and those that will lift you up especially in times like this.
2. No matter how good a place is, you don't have to roam around it too much. If you feel sad and just want to sleep, sleep. If you want to listen to music, just listen to it. If you wanna get drunk, do it. After all, how many times will you have the chance to get drunk and cry in a pretty place and release those emotions that you've kept for a long time.
3. Being a child is better than being an adult (at some times). It's because the more you become an adult, the more your life gets worse because problems are getting bigger. Adult life sucks and you have to find a way to survive.
4. It's nice to be with your love one on a very pretty place. Look at this couple and their candid shot. I don't know them at all i just found them cute. I felt bitter seeing someone happily inlove(because i'm not? Hahaha) I hope i had someone to share the beauty of this place but i don't and it's okay because being single isn't that bad at all.
5. Ask permission from your parents. It's nice to have fun but always ask your parents before you go somewhere else. NO EXPLANATIONS, JUST DO IT.
