False Starts + Knowing Your Partner's Love Language
Today, I officially started listening to podcast marriage/relationship devotion. Why? Because it will help me understand God's message to my husband and I. Including our baby.
Today's topic is a FALSE START. This is the first time that I heard of this term. It simply means restoration of relationship was attempted but never succeeded. Example: Separation, third party, runaway husband/wife, etc.
For us couple, we have never reached this point yet. And praying that we never will! But I remember a huge fight that happened before that needs a restoration of our relationship. We are newly married. Hence, none of us doesn't want to lose that fight. We both stood our pride so high. It was always about winning.
But that same fight, made us realize that we are not enemies. We are a couple that God put together. Our relationship is more important than our pride. And that we swore in front of the Lord that we will stand strong in good times and bad times. God spoke to us.
And as we continue to still discover each other, this podcast for today said that we should know our partner's love language. I took the online test and my result was ACTS OF SERVICE. Meaning, getting help from doing household chores or taking care of the baby is more important to me than receiving gifts.
I made my husband answer the online test, too! And the result was the same. ACTS OF SERVICE is his love language as well. This only means that both of us need to help each other out. And by helping each other, we show our love to each other. Amazing! ❤️
It's important to know your partner's love language so you will know how to connect with him emotionally. With that, false starts can be prevented. Thank You Lord for the wisdom. #FalseStart #MarriageDevotion #Rejoice

Reunited at Sundowners Vacation Villas
Right after we graduated high school, we all went to different universities in college. Two of us went abroad and pursue their life and career there. We're actually a group of six but the MIAs were: Sheena, in Japan. Dianne, reviewing for board exam.
Long story short, our friend Yana who went to Ireland and came home to the Philippines after how many years, decided to treat us all to a staycation at Sundowners Vacation Villas in Bolinao, Pangasinan.

Cagayan Valley Part 1: Tuguegarao Diaries
Why Tuguegarao? They said.
Why not? I answered.
You see, we always go to the places that we are familiar with. But in my case, I’d like to go to the road less travelled. Our country is full of amazing destinations! Some we are familiar, some we are not. And that’s the beauty of not knowing what attraction a certain place has– it’s for you to find out.

What happened in Samar?
A one hour and 30 minutes flight and almost 2 hours delayed flight did not stop my squad and I to go to Samar and Leyte! My Leyte blog was up first and now it’s time to blog about my Samar trip.
This blog was long overdue. Forgive me HAHA. And since it’s 2018 already, my new year’s resolution is to blog more. I noticed that last year, I somehow got demotivated blogging but now let’s have a fresh start.
Anyway, my Samar trip was a lot of fun. It involved a lot of death defying activities and misfortunes. I honestly thought that I would never see Manila/Pampanga again. HAHA. No joke.
Because Samar has lots of beach around, we decided to go beach hopping. Why not? When all you have to do is to walk to reach the place. How convenient, right?

Man of the Globe Philippines 2017
Last November 17, 2017, I hosted a very prestigious pageant– the Man of the Globe Philippines 2017 that was held at Robinsons Starmills, Pampanga.

Man of the Globe Philippines 2017 was the first edition of the said pageant. This year's contestants and winners were the pioneer batch and has experienced what the pageant was all about. A man with the right blend of character.
Each candidate presented their selves with a talent, national costume, swim wear, formal wear and a video presentation that represents the province where they came from.

Deserted Island: Kalanggaman Island, Leyte
One hour flight and four-hour UV express ride did not stop my friends and I to go to a not-so-secret place in Palompon, Leyte– Kalanggaman island.
It has been a month since my trip to this beautiful island but I can't stop talking about it to everybody. How lucky am I to get a chance to see this isolated place?
